
2 Injured in San Diego Crash at G Street and Pacific Highway
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 24, 2023) – Two were hospitalized after an Uber crash at G Street and Pacific Highway in San Diego.
According to a report published by the 911 News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers responded to the wreck on February 23 at about 6:15 a.m.
The incident happened when an UBER was transporting several passengers to the SD Convention Center southbound on Pacific Highway in San Diego. They were traveling in a Toyota Prius.
At the same time, an SUV was going west on West G Street toward Pacific Highway. For an unknown reason, the SUV entered the intersection in front of the Toyota.
Uber and Car Collide
In the process, the Prius t-boned the other car. Police determined that the Toyota had the right of way when the two collided.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two women riding the Uber hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victims to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of G Street and Pacific Highway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the San Diego crash is still under investigation.
