PALA, San Diego (October 3, 2016) – According to an article by NBC San Diego, a 34-year-old woman died after being ejected as a result of a vehicle collision on Pauma Ridge Road near State Route 76 Monday morning.
As per the article, the fatality was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 48-year-old man who crashed for unknown reasons into a concrete retaining wall in the area shortly before 9:00 a.m.
The impact ejected the passenger and pinned her against a building near Fork Road. The incident caused severe trauma to the woman who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by responding medics.
Meanwhile, the driver escaped injuries and has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Officers affirmed alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
