SAN DIEGO (January 4, 2017)- According to NBC News San Diego, a young girl around the age of six was hit by a car Wednesday morning at or near the intersection of Paradise Valley and Briarwood roads.
The collision took place right around 8:00 a.m. near Bell Middle School and Boone Elementary School.
Per the article, several witnesses immediately ran over to help lift the vehicle off of the young girl who was initially unconscious before coming to and crying.
She was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital and remains in an unknown condition.
Police officials confirmed that the driver of the involved vehicle was cooperative and did not appear to have been under the influence.
Liability circumstances remain unclear as the investigation is ongoing.
