SAN DIMAS, California (April 5, 2016) –– A 12-year-old boy was critically injured Tuesday afternoon when he was struck by a car at the intersection of Second Street and San Dimas Avenue, according to the San Dimas Sheriff’s Department.
The pedestrian accident took place about 1:30 p.m. Paramedics treated the child at the scene and he was airlifted to County-USC Medical Center where he is being treated for major injuries suffered in the collision.
The driver of the vehicle was at the scene and being questioned by police.
