Motorcyclist Killed in San Dimas Crash on Eastbound 10 Freeway at Via Verde
SAN DIMAS, CA (October 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash on the 10 Freeway and Via Verde in San Dimas.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:31 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the city of San Dimas.
Motorcycle Rider and Vehicle Collide
The two crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Via Verde. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the fatal San Dimas crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at Via Verde to shut down for a time after the collision.
