SAN FERNANDO, Calif. (March 9, 2023) — Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway in the San Fernando area.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred about 9:46 a.m. on March 9th, between San Fernando Mission Road and State Route 118, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a gold Chevrolet HHR SUV, a gray Dodge Charger sedan and a white pickup truck were involved. The Dodge had major front-end damage and the Chevrolet had moderate rear-end damage from the accident.
Also, the crash occurred in the left lanes of the 5 freeway in San Fernando.
Furthermore, paramedics responded and transported a woman and a juvenile to the nearby Providence Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove the Dodge from the 5 freeway after the crash in San Fernando.
