SAN FRANCISCO, California (April 13, 2016) — A motorcycle and two cars collided in the Treasure Island tunnel of the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10:29 a.m. this morning at the Treasure Island on ramp, CHP officers said.
The drivers involved were a motorcycle, a black Toyota Highlander and a silver Mercedes. The crash took place in the Nos. 4 lane and the No. 5 lane was also blocked. One of the people involved had complaints of neck pain. Local firefighters and paramedics responded to help the injrued. The silver Mercedes was taken off the road by a tow truck. The cause of the crash is under investigation by police.
