Loose Tire in Highway From Crash on Interstate 280
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (July 22, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Monday afternoon on the Interstate 280 in San Francisco near Ocean Avenue off ramp.
The traffic accident occurred at around 3:47 PM on Monday July 22, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There were four vehicles involved in a crash on the Interstate 280. Some vehicles that CHP reported to be involved included a black Honda, a grey Jeep, a blue Toyota and an unknown vehicle. The accident was blocking the third lane of the highway additionally a loose tire was in the highway as well. All parties involved in the crash were out of the vehicles and the cars are all moved to the right side.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the accident in San Francisco on Interstate 280 Highway.
