101 Freeway (Bayshore Freeway) Truck Accident near Little Hollywood
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2017) — At least one person was injured Wednesday morning in a collision involving a big rig truck and two cars on the southbound US 101 Freeway at Tunnel Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 8 a.m. this morning between a silver Toyota Prius, a Mitsubishi Elipse and the semi-tractor trailer truck. The Prius was facing the wrong way in the No. 4 lanes and suffered moderate rear end damage on its right side. The Mitsubishi had both front-end and rear-right damage and one of the vehicles was stuck half-way underneath the big rig truck. The truck was not drivable after the collision.
The report stated that paramedics were called to the scene, but the extent of any injuries suffered in the crash was not disclosed.
