2 Women Severely Injured by Speeding Driver Near Union Square
SAN FRANCISCO (October 24, 2017) – Two women were severely injured after a traffic collision at Post and Larkin streets on October 11, according to San Francisco Gate.
The accident took place at about 1:39 a.m. near Union Square.
As per the article, police said a motorist lost control after allegedly driving into intersection at a high rate of speed. The suspect slammed into a parked vehicle and a fire hydrant.
The speeding driver then struck another car which was going through the intersection at the time. Two women in the victim vehicle were transported to the hospital with injuries considered as life-threatening.
The names of the patients and their condition were not disclosed. They were only described as two women, ages 45 and 24.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the person who caused the crash was arrested and was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
