Multi-Vehicle Collision on Bayshore 101 Freeway
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (April 1, 2025) — Three vehicles were involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Bayshore Freeway (US101), just south of Cesar Chavez Street in San Francisco.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound slow lanes around 6:48 a.m. on April 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Mazda Miata, a dark grey Toyota SUV, and a Volkswagen GTi were involved.
Paramedics responded and transported one person with complaints of pain to a hospital, but at least one other person declined an ambulance, the report said. The crash was classified as a minor injury one.
A tow truck removed the damaged Volkswagen, and the Mazda due to major front-end damage, but the Toyota was drivable, the report said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by police.
