SamTrans Bus Hits, Kills Man at Mission Road and McLellan Drive
San Francisco, CA (October 31, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Monday evening in the area of Mission Road and McLellan Drive.
According to NBC News, a SamTrans bus struck an individual at the intersection in South San Francisco. Earlier reports indicated the horrible crash took place at approximately 8 p.m.
Emergency crews later responded to the accident scene; and found the male pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Authorities later confirmed the man sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the bus involved in the unfortunate event.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is the agency handling the investigation. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened at Mission Road and McLellan Drive in San Francisco.
