2 Killed, 1 Injured in San Francisco Pedestrian Crash at 3rd and Mission Streets
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 22, 2022) – A pedestrian crash killed two women and injured another person at 3rd and Mission Streets in San Francisco.

According to the SF Gate and ABC 7 News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at around 4:30 p.m.
The incident began when a taxi cab collided with another vehicle for an unknown reason in the South of Market district. The driver of the taxi then went onto a sidewalk outside of a business.
San Francisco police said in the process, the cab struck two women and a male pedestrian. The vehicle hit them at the intersection of 3rd and Mission streets.
Victims Hit by Taxi Cab
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Yerba Buena Center. The two women died as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the third victim to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, the taxi cab driver ended up hospitalized in stable condition. Officers forced the area of 3rd and Mission streets to shut down following the incident.
