Personal Injury Lawyer
Most traffic accidents which involve a motorist who flees the scene can be subjected to serious criminal charges, especially when a particular crash causes injuries to another person. Such circumstances are likely considered as “felony hit-and-run,” leaving the victim a legal right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault individual.
In this case, a driver took off and left another party wounded on the road. Aside from fleeing, the suspect is also accused of being involved in a speed contest prior to the collision. Victims of hit-and-run incidents will then have the right to pursue a claim seeking a compensation for all the hospital bills, future medical needs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
