SAN FRANCISCO, California — At least one person was hospitalized as a result of a car crash on Highway 101 at Silver Avenue offramp in the early morning of February 4.

As per California Highway Patrol dispatch, the collision involved a silver Hyundai Sonata, a gold Toyota Camry, and possibly another unknown vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the site shortly after 3:04 a.m. and provided aid to injured parties. One person was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of major injuries.

Circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear at this time as investigation is ongoing.
