SAN FRANCISCO, California (July 22, 2016) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood early Friday morning, according to San Francisco Gate.
The accident occurred about 12:45 a.m. on Haight Street and Masonic Avenue.
As per the article, police said the 30-year-old man was walking in the area when he was struck by a black older model Lincoln town car which was headed east on Haight Street at the time.
The victim was transported to the hospital and was listed in critical condition. His name was not immediately available.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled east on Haight Street.
