SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (July 12, 2018) — A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning in a collision with a vehicle on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 8:42 a.m. this morning. The motorcycle rider went down in the middle lanes after colliding with a Chevrolet Impala. Bystanders carried the motorcyclist out of the roadway and paramedics were called to the scene to help the 35-year-old victim. The man was having difficulty breathing and required medical help.
It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision. A full investigation is underway.
