Several Injured in San Francisco Crash at Haight and Cole Streets

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 16, 2022) – Several were injured after a crash at Haight and Cole streets in San Francisco.

According to the CBS San Francisco and KRON 4 News, the accident took place early Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:32 a.m.

The incident happened on July 15 when a pickup truck struck the rear of the Muni bus at the intersection of Haight and Cole streets. The area is in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of the city.

Car and Muni Bus Collide

San Francisco police said for an unknown reason the two crashed just south of Golden Gate Park’s panhandle. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

Multiple patients ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then provided treatment for the minor injuries they sustained in the accident.

The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the corner of Haight and Cole streets to shut down following the wreck.
