San Francisco police officials disclosed that the driver of the bus lost control and crashed into a building adjacent to the intersection.

The driver of the bus and three passengers were injured following the collision. The operator of the bus, 66-year-old Milton James, suffered critical injuries upon impact.

San Francisco Accident Injury Lawyer

The bus driver may be held responsible for causing the accident.  If he is held responsible, the municipal company employing the driver would ultimately be held responsible.  It is important to properly investigate the accident outside of what law enforcement will do.  Many times, their investigation is inadequate. Most individuals will take pictures on their cell phones.  It is important to keep these for proper documentation.  School bus accidents occur way too frequent.  Oftentimes, it is a lack of training and supervision on the part of the school district.  There is a wide range of injuries that result from these types of accidents.  Many children are able to walk away with a few scratches.  However, others suffer significant injuries. Anyone involved in a bus accident should seek out immediate medical care if feeling any slight pain or discomfort. It’s very important to be seen by a doctor as quickly as possible to ensure that there is no delay in treatment which can lead to an injury worsening over time. The laws pertaining to school districts and other public entities are different.  It is important to speak to an attorney as soon as possible to adequately protect your rights.  A delay may bar an individual from pursuing a case.
