Driver Milton James and 3 Passengers Injured in Bus Crash
SAN FRANCISCO (September 10, 2018)- According to the SF Bay, a major injury crash involving a San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority bus was reported this morning at Scott and Lombard streets.
The collision took place at roughly 6:00 a.m. and appeared to have just been the municipal bus involved.
San Francisco police officials disclosed that the driver of the bus lost control and crashed into a building adjacent to the intersection.
The driver of the bus and three passengers were injured following the collision. The operator of the bus, 66-year-old Milton James, suffered critical injuries upon impact.
The three passengers were taken to San Francisco General Hospital with unspecified injuries. Their names were not disclosed.
A thorough investigation is currently ongoing as a city inspector was apparently also contacted to attend the scene to inspect the structural damage incurred to the building.
No additional details have been provided at this time.
