Pedestrian Seriously Injured in San Francisco Crash Near 3rd and Harrison Streets
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 2, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash near 3rd and Harrison streets in San Francisco.
According to an article published by the CBS San Francisco, the accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the collision on March 1 at about 8:03 p.m.
San Francisco police said a 2019 Volkswagen Golf struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The car hit him near the intersection of 3rd and Harrison streets.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the 63-year-old man who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed him to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the 65-year-old man driving the Volkswagen stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of 3rd and Harrison streets to shut down following the pedestrian incident.
