Car Hits Boy near SFO Airport Offramp
San Francisco, CA (June 11, 2022) – A juvenile suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101, the KTVU News reported.
Officials said a group of about 15 kids attempted to cross the highway in the area near SFO Airport offramp. While walking across the freeway, a passing white Chrysler 300 struck one boy. The collision took place shortly before 7 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the juvenile with injuries. The article published online mentioned the child sustained major trauma to his head, and also broke his leg. Paramedics transported the patient to a nearby hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash.
Investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident happened on Highway 101 in San Francisco.
