Boy, 17, Injured in San Francisco Hit-and-Run Crash at La Salle and Cashmere
SAN FRANCISCO (September 18, 2019) – A teenage pedestrian was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run crash at La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street Tuesday morning.
According to reports by SF Chronicle and SF Gate, the accident was reported on September 17 at about 9:13 a.m. in the Bayview District neighborhood.
Police said a 17-year-old boy was crossing the area of La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street when for an unknown reason he was struck by a vehicle.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the teen suffering from non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
He was then immediately transported to a hospital for treatment. His name and condition at this time were not available.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the car involved did not stop to render aid and took off. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
