Man, 35, Badly Hurt in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
LOCATION: San Francisco (Richmond District)
DATE OF INCIDENT: Saturday, August 4th
August 7, 2018- According to the San Francisco Gate, a 35-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run pedestrian collision over the weekend.
At roughly 1:22 p.m., the unidentified man had been crossing Geary Boulevard near 2nd Avenue before being struck by a green four-door vehicle, per the article.
Victim Remains in Critical Condition With Life-Threatening Injuries
The victim suffered injuries which are being described as life-threatening as he remains hospitalized in critical condition at as of Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, the suspect was last seen fleeing the scene traveling east on Geary toward southbound Arguello Boulevard.
San Francisco police officials will be pulling surveillance footage from the adjacent businesses which likely captured the incident so that authorities can obtain the vehicle’s license plate number in order to locate the suspect.
