SAN FRANCISCO (October 12, 2016)- According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 91-year-old woman was seriously injured following an auto versus pedestrian collision Sunday in Nob Hill.
Authorities confirmed the collision had taken place at the cross streets of Pacific Avenue and Leavenworth Street.
At roughly 5:51 p.m., a 30-year-old man driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling westbound on Pacific struck the woman who had been inside of a crosswalk.
The woman suffered head trauma and was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital, where she was last said to have been in critical condition.
It was confirmed that the man remained at the scene and was cooperative with police officials who determined he was not under the influence and was therefore not arrested.
