SAN FRANCISCO, California (March 7, 2017) – A 50-year-old woman died after being struck by a car in the Excelsior District last week, March 1, according to San Francisco Examiner.
The medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Qiu Liang, of San Francisco.
As per the article, police said the accident took place at 6:44 p.m. Qiu Liang was crossing Mission Street in the crosswalk when she was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 53-year-old woman.
The victim was then transported to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries the next day.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
