SAN JACINTO, California (March 7, 2016) — Six people were injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound Ramona Expressway, just west of Warren Road, a report by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department said.
The crash was reported about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday morning. One of the individuals hurt suffered serious injuries and two people had to be extricated from the wreckage by firefighters at the scene.
Five of the people hurt suffered minor injuries, but all were taken to hospital in ambulances.
There were 10 firefighters who responded along with three engine companies and one overhead personnel, the report said.
Police are looking into the circumstances to determine what led to the crash and liability.
