Bicycle Rider Injured in San Jacinto Crash at Warren Road and Esplanade Avenue
SAN JACINTO, CA (April 10, 2021) – A bicycle rider was hospitalized after an accident at Warren Road and Esplanade Avenue in San Jacinto.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the accident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:52 p.m.
According to their report posted online, a passenger vehicle hit the bicyclist for an unknown reason. Cal Fire said they collided at the intersection of Warren Road and Esplanade Avenue in San Jacinto.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the bicycle rider who ended up injured as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took the patient to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded cyclist and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the driver involved stopped after hitting the victim. They also closed the roadway for a time following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the San Jacinto bicycle accident.
