4 Injured in San Jacinto Crash at Ramona Expressway and Sanderson Avenue
SAN JACINTO, CA (March 30, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Ramona Expressway and Sanderson Avenue in San Jacinto.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on March 29 at about 5:15 p.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of San Jacinto. They crashed at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Sanderson Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then rescued a trapped occupant from the wreckage. Cal Fire said a total of four people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One victim sustained major injuries while a second person suffered moderate injuries. The other two patients survived with minor injuries.
Medical personnel took all four of them to the hospital for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ramona and Sanderson to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the San Jacinto crash is still under investigation.
