1 Killed, 1 Badly Injured in San Jacinto Crash Near State Street and Community College
SAN JACINTO, CA (October 7, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and badly injured another near State Street and Community College Drive in San Jacinto.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the tragic incident on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:18 p.m.
According to Cal Fire, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of San Jacinto. They crashed near the intersection of State Street and Community College Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then confirmed that one victim died at the scene. They took the second patient to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials forced a stretch of State Street to shut down near Community College following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal San Jacinto crash is still under investigation.
