2 Killed, 3 Hospitalized
SAN JACINTO, California (March 25, 2016) – A deadly collision took place on Gilman Springs Road near Highway 79 on Friday night, according to The Press Enterprise. (map)
A dispatch by California Highway Patrol said a Toyota Rav 4 and a Honda collided head-on at 9:54 p.m.
An article by The Press Enterprise reported that two people died at the scene. They were identified as 68-year-old Ignacio Galeana, of Los Angeles and 47-year-old Lisa White, of Long Beach.
White was going east on Gilman Springs when her Toyota crossed the double-yellow lines and crashed into a westbound Honda driven by Galeana.
Three other occupants in the Honda were transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
