Pedestrian Killed in Crash Near Esplanade and San Jacinto Avenues
SAN JACINTO, CA (April 6, 2023) – A crash killed a pedestrian near Esplanade and San Jacinto avenues in San Jacinto.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the collision on April 5 at about 7:40 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles struck a male pedestrian who tried to run across a San Jacinto street. The cars hit him near the intersection of Esplanade and San Jacinto avenues.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the man down on the ground. He sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital, where he died. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that both drivers stopped and stayed at the site following the collision. Officers forced the area of Esplanade and San Jacinto avenues to shut down for several hours after the incident.
The cause of the fatal San Jacinto pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
