UPDATE: Aaron Alalin, 38, ID’d as Man Killed in Crash
SAN JACINTO, California (March 16, 2015) — Three people were hospitalized with minor to major injuries early Monday morning following a head-on crash on North Sanderson Avenue, just south of the Ramona Expressway, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters had to cut and rescue two of the people who were trapped in the wreckage about 5:27 a.m. Paramedics then rushed three people by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. One of the individuals later identified as Aaron Alalinm 38, died of his injuries about 5:35 a.m., but the other two suffered minor and moderate injuries in the crash.
“This is a tragedy for the family of this man,” said Attorney James Johnson. “My condolences go out to them at this difficult time.”
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability. A report will be issued with their findings.
