1 Killed in San Joaquin County Crash at Tracy Boulevard and Grimes Road
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (October 21, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person at Tracy Boulevard and Grimes Road in San Joaquin County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:48 p.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in San Joaquin County. They crashed at the intersection of Tracy Boulevard and Grimes Road.
Multiple Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a Subaru, a black pickup truck and a Honda Civic. The Subaru obtained moderate front-end damage while the Honda ended up with major damage upon impact.
The pickup truck rolled over and came to a rest on its roof. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual died.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Tracy Boulevard and Grimes Road to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal San Joaquin County crash is still under investigation.
