1 Killed, 6 Injured in San Joaquin County Crash on Highway 12 and Peatland Road
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (May 13, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured several others on Highway 12 and Peatland Road in San Joaquin County.
According to the KCRA News and CBS Sacramento, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:20 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said at least two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in San Joaquin County. They crashed on westbound Highway 12 near Peatland Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, northwest of Stockton and just east of the small Delta community of Terminous.
One individual died as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took a total of six patients to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 12 to shut down near Peatland for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal crash is still under investigation.
