2-Vehicle San Jose Car Accident on Highway 101
SAN JOSE, Calif. (March 11, 2022) — A San Jose car accident on Highway 101 happened early Friday near Tully Road East.
The collision happened about 2:27 a.m. on March 11th on the northbound side of Hwy 101, just south of the off ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a red sedan and a white Ford Escape collided in the fast lane and center divider, the CHP said.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with minor injuries from the collision. It’s unknown if the person was treated at the scene and or transported to a hospital.
Authorities did not mention what lead up to the San Jose crash on Highway 101, but they are investigating and will determine fault.
Tow trucks removed both vehicles and cleared the roadway by 4:30 a.m. this morning.
Meanwhile, witnesses to the collision may contact the CHP’s San Jose station.
