At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 101 Friday
San Jose, CA (October 1, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a three vehicles collided in the northbound side of the highway Friday afternoon. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a gray sedan and a gold Honda Accord both disabled in the slow lane of the highway.
Officials mentioned the incident took place near the Interstate 680 Freeway in San Jose.

Shortly after 2:44 p.m., medical personnel responded to the crash site. Paramedics found at least one person with major injuries. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident on Highway 101 in San Jose.
