3 Injured in San Jose Crash at Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road
SAN JOSE, CA (December 2, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road in San Jose.
According to an article published by the NBC Bay Area, the accident took place on Thursday. Officers reported the wreck in the afternoon.
San Jose police said the incident happened when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed at the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed all three patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced Capitol to shut down south of the intersection with Quimby following the wreck. The cause of the San Jose crash is still under investigation.
