San Jose: Car Crash on Highway 101 Near Highway 85

At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Highway 85

San Jose, CA (September 27, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 resulted in injuries, according to KRON4 News.

Earlier reports indicated two or more cars crashed into each other on SR-101 just south of Highway 85. Officials said the force from the impact caused at least one vehicle to overturn, and block the roadway.

Shortly after 7:12 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties involved in the collision. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the crash that happened on Highway 101 in San Jose.
