Pedestrian Seriously Injured in San Jose Costco Parking Lot Crash on Automation
SAN JOSE, CA (October 14, 2022) – A crash left a pedestrian seriously injured in a Costco parking lot on Automation Parkway in San Jose.
According to The Mercury News and CBS San Francisco, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the collision at around 9:37 a.m.
The incident when a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason in a Costco parking lot in San Jose. Police said the driver hit her in the 1700 block of Automation Parkway.

Paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Hostetter Road in the Berryessa neighborhood. They found the victim down on the ground.
She ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The name of the wounded party and her condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the accident.
Officers forced the area of the Costco parking along Automation to shut down after the accident. The cause of the San Jose pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
