4 Injured in Solo-Vehicle Crash in San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. (August 12, 2022) — A major-injury San Jose crash happened Friday morning on Highway 101 at the southbound connection to the Interstate 880 Freeway.
Four people suffered injuries in the collision about 6:46 a.m. on August 12, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatcher.
The San Jose Fire Department responded to the scene and provide medical assistance to two people with major injuries and two with minor injuries. They transported at least two of them to a hospital for further treatment.
Police were also on the scene and requested a tow truck for the Jeep Compass with major front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Jose crash. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision or if road conditions were a factor.
