SAN JOSE, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2023) — A two-vehicle San Jose crash occurred on the southbound Interstate 680 Freeway, just south of the Hostetter Road on ramp.
The collision happened about 5:14 a.m. on Jan. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver of a black Honda Civic and a second vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances. The Honda reportedly spun around near the center divider and was facing the wrong way after the crash. The vehicle suffered moderate front-end damage. Meanwhile, the second passenger vehicle had moderate right side damage from the crash.
Paramedics responded with an ambulance, but it’s unknown if anyone was seriously injured or not.
Also, two tow trucks came to take away the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the San Jose crash on the 680 Freeway.
