Big Rig Fatally Hits Man Near Tully Road Onramp
San Jose, CA (May 13, 2023) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101 late Saturday, May 13.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a big rig struck an individual in the northbound side of the highway near Tully Road onramp. CHP logged the case around 11:45 p.m.
Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Accident
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a person lying on the ground and possibly unconscious. Responding paramedics performed CPR and other life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives handling the case stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Highway 101 in San Jose.
