Man, Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Interstate 880
San Jose, CA (December 11, 2022) – Two people died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101, the Mercury News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck a man and a woman in the southbound side of SR-101 near Interstate 880. According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place Sunday at approximately 4 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the two pedestrians suffering in serious injuries. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victims but they both sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, authorities continue to withhold the names of the deceased parties.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the condition of the driver involved in the unfortunate event. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Highway 101 in San Jose.
