Vehicles Fatally Struck Man Near Wolfe Road
San Jose, CA (October 18, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 280 Freeway Friday evening.
The KRON4 News reported at least two vehicles struck a male party in the southbound side of the freeway north of Wolfe Road.
Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Accident on Interstate 280
Shortly after 10:25 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a body lying in the number three lane of I-280. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the man was still sadly unconscious. Medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities mentioned two motorists stayed in the area after the collision. The drivers of a Chevy Tahoe, and a Toyota Corolla both cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 280 in San Jose.
