2 Dead in Hit-and-Run Collision Near Reid-Hillview Airport
San Jose, CA (April 7, 2022) – Two pedestrians suffered fatal injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Ocala Avenue and Oakton Court.
According to CBS News, a motorist struck two parties at the intersection in the South Bay area Thursday evening. The make and model of the car involved in the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far.

Earlier reports indicated the collision took place around 6:30 p.m. When rescue teams arrived at the site, just a few blocks from Reid-Hillview Airport, they found two people lying on the ground. Responding paramedics immediately attended to the victims. The article published online mentioned medical personnel rushed the two injured parties to local hospitals. Sadly, the two pedestrians eventually succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the names of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers said the vehicle involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident at Ocala Avenue and Oakton Court.
