1 Seriously Injured in San Jose Fiery Crash on Highway 101 Saturday
SAN JOSE (January 5, 2019) – One was seriously injured after an alleged DUI crash along Highway 101 early Saturday morning, according to On Scene TV.
The accident was reported at approximately 12:55 a.m.
As per the report, police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on the southbound Highway 101 at McKee Road. One of the cars involved ultimately caught fire as a result of the collision.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to scene and attended to at least one person who suffered major injuries upon impact.

The patient was then taken to an area trauma center for further treatment. The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that a driver was believed to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the wreck occurred.
The suspect was taken into custody but was transported to the hospital for medial clearance. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
