Bicyclist, 40, Dies in Hospital Weeks After Crash on Guadalupe River Trail
SAN JOSE, Ca (May 28, 2020) – A 40-year-old man died Wednesday of injuries sustained in a traffic collision that occurred about two weeks ago on Guadalupe River Trail.
According to the Mercury News, the adult male paty was riding a bicycle headed south on the trail near the 300 block of West Julian Street.
Our sources indicated the 40-year-old man collided with another cyclist, a 24-year-old man, traveling northbound on the same trail.

When medical teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the older bicyclist, who appeared badly hurt. A land ambulance rushed the patient to a hospital, where he remained until his death Wednesday.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the younger cyclist, reportedly received medical aid at the scene. The 24-year-old man is expected to fully recover.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine precisely what happened here and why.
