Man, 83, Killed in San Jose Crash at Camden Avenue and Camelia Drive
SAN JOSE (April 16, 2019) – An elderly passenger died Monday after a traffic collision in the area of Camden Avenue and Camelia Drive last year, November.
The tragic accident involving two vehicles took place on November 18 at about 2:50 p.m..
Police said a blue 2012 BMW was going southbound on Camden Avenue when at the same time a black 2006 GMC Yukon was turning left onto Camelia Drive from northbound Camden.
The 16-year-old boy driving the BMW then struck the passenger side of the GMC driven by a 53-year-old man. The Yukon ultimately rolled over multiple times upon impact.

According to The Mercury News, paramedics responded to the scene and rushed an 83-year-old man riding as a passenger in the overturned car to a hospital for treatment.
However, the victim later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the drivers of both vehicles stopped following the crash and cooperated with the authorities. It was not specified in the report if the motorists were injured in the wreck.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
