1 Killed, 4 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 101 Friday
San Jose, CA (May 7, 2021) – A fatal rollover car crash occurred on Highway 101 Friday evening, the Mercury News reported.
Officials said a Toyota Prius veered off the roadway for an unknown reason, then overturned in the northbound side of SR-101. The accident took place just north of Capitol Expressway in San Jose.

Shortly after 10 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and rendered aid to all five occupants of the Prius. The article published online later confirmed one passenger sadly died as a result of the incident. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned four other parties sustained injuries from the collision. Paramedics transported all four patients to an area hospital for treatment.
The precise cause of the fatal car crash in San Jose have not been revealed thus far. At the moment, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the unfortunate event.
