At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Brokaw Road Sunday
San Jose, CA (March 27, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 880, also known as Nimitz Freeway.
Our sources indicated a dark-colored Ford F150 collided with a sports motorbike in the southbound side of the freeway. The crash took place near the Brokaw Road onramp.
CHP logged the case Sunday around 11:58 a.m.
Motorcyclist Dies in San Jose Accident on Interstate 880
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the motorcyclist lying on the right-hand shoulder of I-880. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the rider succumbed to their injuries and sadly died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly collision on Interstate 880 in San Jose.
